Are Your Teeth Worth Two (2) Hours a Year?

What are your teeth worth to you? Are they worth two (2) hours of your time once a year? Because that’s about what it takes. A 45 minute to one hour appointment—and I’ve allowed 30 min. of travel time on each side of the appointment to get you to and from the office. Given that there are at least 8,760 hours in a year, do you think you could find 2 consecutive ones to give your teeth the pampering they deserve to keep your smile bright and beautiful?

Plaque, tartar and calculus tend to pick up stains that can dull your smile. They also trap disease causing bacteria against your teeth and gums. A professional cleaning removes surface stains to help brighten your smile and reduces the number of bacteria to keep your gums a healthy color and strengthen this important support for your teeth. (Gums that recede due to gum disease often leave an unsightly dark space between teeth.)

The dental exam will identify any problem areas on your teeth and gums. Hopefully, you will be able to correct these issues throughout the year so that you can present your best smile to the world.

Of course, doing this twice a year (the most common recommendation) is best, but once a year is better than ignoring your smile. So please resolve to find 2 consecutive hours to pamper your smile!
